Let's say Jay Z heard you rap and called you on the phone wanting to collab. Would you have the balls to say, "Sorry Jay, I don't want to work with you because you're a biter/weak?" Jay can flow, point blank. His lyrics are deeper than they seem because of the topics he chooses to rap about. I think all yall Jay haters should listen to "H to the izzo" and be happy!

No need to get defensive...I don't know what you know about "rap"...I was merely saying that there should be a study as to the percentages of people's raps that have quotes from other rappers. I think it'd be interesting. And, I prefer Jay over those you mentioned for his flow alone. We won't even get into the lyrics. But, like you said, it's personal taste. I think Biggie's lyrics are so well documented, that it's obvious. I've heard countless rappers quote Biggie before, but they aren't scolded like Jay.

well i do actually,i love jay as an artist,i dont give a fuck if he quotes to many lines.....and yes he is quoting the lines..why the fuck would he bite biggies lines,like no body would notice,all rappers quote shit,maybe jay does it more,but look how much music he puts out.the guy retires and still drops more albums than everyone else,its crazy,and the guy is talented.the way he records right there on the spot without even writing a word down,plus the things he raps about,BUT...obviously people are gona disagree,everyone has different opinions and taste..so when someone says that they aint feelin him i can understand.but if you ask me who the overall greatest rapper is...ima say jigga...
