my set up is DEAD!!!!!!!!

i dont know wtf happened... but now when i use my mic to record it sounds like a phone call... in cool edit... the vocals are all muffled and i dont know how to fix it... i dont know if its my mic or my mic jack on my comp thats messed up... or what...


any of yall niggas know how to trouble shoot this???


i need a new set up any way ... i got use head sets... one mic and one headphones... and cool edit... i wanna get a studio style mic... or something better than im usin now... this ghetto tech is aint cuttin it no more!!!!

good lookin out mayne.... well.... im not sure if this comp got a sound card or not... .. i guess it does... but i never put one in... and um... to solve the mic jack problem im orderin some new equipment off Sweetwater.com ... a new USB mic... so if its the jack... i can just bypass that wit the USB port...

man push the mic all the way in lol then check ya system sound and turn of aux or phone sound

the mic that broke was a head set.... i record wit it every friday... but when i went to the other day ... after the cypha... it sounded like i was recording through the phone... so... i dont know wtf happened... but... i mean.. i do got 3 cats in my house.. and them little bastards are crazy... so i dont know what them niggas did... but... maybe they chewed up the wire or did something to jack... i dont know... but any rate... im buy that new equipment on Friday so i can get back in the game .... New mic should be here b4 Valentines day...
