Tiger Woods won the Dubai Desert Classic golf tourney in the United Arab Emirates yesterday. His prize money was 400,000. But, to even show up, he charged an appearance fee of 3 MILLION DOLLARS!

With an appearance by Tiger Woods, it brings a lot more media attention to an event such as this meaning increased interest in their tournament, increases in revenue from advertising, a larger turnout from spectators etc etc etc..
I seriously doubt theyre making a loss from the 3 mill their paying him in appearance fees...... His managers would know this.. And they would have pounced on the opportunity.... Business is business friend..... |
