Are any of you concerned about hearing damage?
There are countless warnings about earbud style headphones--like the ones that come with Ipods--causing hearing loss. Some of the signs of hearing loss include having to say "huh" or "what" during normal conversations. Also, having to crank the television up often is another sign. Personally, I'm not that concerned because I usually listen to my Ipod for less than 30 minutes at a time, even though it's at a high volume.

Hmm...Let's dismiss research scientists spent years compiling because Socrates says so. Dawg, earbuds are more intense than normal headphones or noise cancelling headphones. The warning is out there. But, don't come in here and make yourself look like an ass, please. The point is, people listen to Ipods and other Mp3s for hours upon end. How often do we listen to other "loud" noises for 4 hours at a time? That's the point of the warning dip shit. 1 |
Well, any fuckin loud music is loud. The earphones don't matter. If you take traditional headphones and turn them up just as loud as you do earbuds, you're not making any fuckin difference. If they are louder, then they're louder, but that doesn't mean the other ones can't be equally as bad if you turn them up that high. -_-

Ya my hearing is pretty bad now.
