yea so i should be doin pretty good..its about $530..but i kno shit dont come cheap heh..

Why buy a mixer when you can do everything that hardware does..through lossless software? This is the new age man, lol, the music industry has finally accepted that people record directly to their computers. With the $196 you could spend on the mixer, you can get an "interface" (the name for any hardware that has USB or Firewire as it's output, instead of 1/4" phono, XLR, etc) and still have some money left over for some good studio headphones, better wires, etc.

At the rate you're going, you'll eventually need to spend mad duckets on some high-zoot soundcard just to get the same clear sound that you'd get from coming in digitally as USB or Firewire anyway, and end up spending WAY more in the process.

lol yea i kno u told me..but i gotta get another soundcard anyway eventually..the one i got is broke..the mic doesnt stay in fully..

but not to mention im not just mixin myself anymore..im mixin me and 3 other niggas in my group =\..and they punch in alot..plus sometimes we tag team on tracks now..that shit is tirin cause we do like two songs every Tuesday..-_-..so i figure id buy a mixer..lol

lol, thats ironic, because all your reasons for buying a mixer are the same reasons to buy an interface. ESPECIALLY if your soundcard is broke. I was going to put in my other post that you completely bypass the soundcard when using an interface but decided to leave that out to keep it short.

Shoulda stuck with my instinct lol.

i dunno..i AM pretty lazy..and the mixer would be wonderful..im sure it would make a noticable difference..and u told me that the USB would be a good addition but all the hand mixin is just issin me off cause i taught the niggas i rap wit how to mix..and they so fuckin lazy i hate writin verses..then mixin everybody shit and then they rush me to hurry up..them niggas just dont kno so..i dunno yo lol

I don't understand what you're saying man, or why it's a good reason to spend about two hundred dollars to do the same thing that you can already do for free.

im not puttin up the full amount so im not really trippin..

not at all..but im still bein stubborn about not gettin the mixer..heh..ill fuck around and get both..just not together lol
