Interacting with people face-to-face. By talking to you, people will get a good understanding of what you're about, in a way that can't be expressed through typing in your "About Me" section. Also, you don't have to be worried about someone completely ruining a conversation by asking "Hey, do you interact with people face-to-face?" because people don't ask that.

And it also saves you from all the homoeroticism that is Myspace.

wow...you don't say...Gee, and here I was thinking the i-net was a figment of my imagination

Cuz, when someone likes your music on the i-net, that's less "real" than if they burn it on a CD and listen to it in a car?

the best way of promoting your music depends on who your target audience is. If your target audience is underground heads or b-boys and so on, MTV wouldn't be the best idea. Know what I mean? You gotta go where they're at.

Once you know whoyour audience is, you already know the best way. ;)

Word, I prefer to know who my fans are. Actually talking to them lets me also know what they like, so if I want to make any music for the fans I'd know what to base it off of.
