We wrote this about 2 weeks ago, then recorded it last week. Just a track about our influences in hip hop. However, I was given the tracks right after we recorded them, so not all the mixing has been done yet. It may sound a little staticy, but not really too much. Well, I'm on the first verse, my guy's on the 2nd...enjoy. :thumbup: Btw, this beat was made by our producer, for those wondering.

first verse is ok some lines are rushed emotion is prevelent but nothing special.. lyrics is good.. makes sense and coresponds with the beat... some more words it sounds you slipped up on...atleast you on beat thats a plus...not my typa track... i like somthing i can bang in ma car wit da bass way up...
second guy is pretty good... flow is ok lyrics ok... pretty much same as you

Yeah, we just did it in one take and thought it was fine for now. We'll probably take it back in and re-record it sometime down the road, when we're ready to actually put it out. But thanks for the feed...maybe next time I might even have something to bump in the whip.

beats cool, quality is good, flows are good, your is a bit shaky at the start bro,but soon finds its foundation.

Am I the only one who thought his flow was pretty good? Anywho, I liked this shit man. You maybe should have split the verse in two and threw a hook in there somewhere, then it would sound more like an actual song than just a mixtape track :thumbup:™

Also, your boy gets a little monotone. Tell him he needs to switch up his voice every once in a while to keep people intrested. He also fell off the beat a little in the beginning....

i like the idea of this song....first guy nice flow n lyrics maybe rushed a lil ina few spots......2nd guy real good flow n lyrics i like the delivery.....good song this shit was hot as hell 9/10 good work realy enjoyed this one

been a while....... nice some subtle input.... such as chillin wit Big L, this shit is pretty interestin for the hip hop references throughout the WHOLE thing.... but it gets alil on the corny to me for some reason, u have a good flow, real chill and easy to listen to

second guys flow is just wrong for this beat to me....... slick rick was a beast, and his voice seems to be eqed alot diff than urs.... HAHAHAH i love the CUZ THATS WAT GOD LOVES line.... lmao... i love u guys more subtle references to hip hop than like ur "i got more bitches than rick james" kinda lines altho that blackstarr one was hot...

You could use some EQing skills. The lyrics are on and haha your story of shelter vs exposure is pretty funny. Nice walk down memory lane.

second verse, if that's you, it sounds liek your voice is warmed up now because it's pretty open, but you stuff that extra sylable in there that makes some lines seem rushed though they're actually just too long to stay on flow. A hook would have been ILL to seperate these two verses. The lyrics are pretty on point. word to the PM dawn and R.A.M. refferences.

pretty ill overall, some quality issues and the extra sylable gettin in once in a blue but a real good track overall. pretty much anyone can connect to this.

I don't really like this beat sucka, it's slightly annoying. =/ Your quality is meh, kinda muffled. Your lyrics and flow are dopeness though. Your verse started kinda blah on the delivery tip but it picked up quick. LOL @ "Ice Cube before he started family movies" Second guy is iight too, his flow is kinda rushed, quality is better blah.

I like the lyrics and shit, but the beat is something I can't stand for too long. So, only because the beat is so booboo I give this 7/10

Listenin, beat is nice on dat talk shit...quality is okay...this reminds me of summin eminem would specially wit how u started..im feelin ya flow...that's hot and youre speakin da truth...delivery is pretty good...cud work on dat breath control..this is some real shit...im feelin this fam..haha at that ice cube before family movies..this is pretty good....the other guy had better quality, floow was decent..too many words in his lines tho...sounds too robotic..

i love the beat it really gives it a nice lil kicck
sets the flavor definetly feelin the flow
presence is aiight, kinda shaky
it can be fixed with alot of practice or memorizing the song
but as i read up there you did it in like one take
so definetly not bad
the mic sounds a little too dynamic though, maybe you should invest in a denser lds mic
my perosnal opinion is it would definetly add to your presence n voice quality
