Would you raise your own clone?
Not a child you had, not a child you adopted. Your own clone from your own DNA. Would you raise it from it's artifical birth onward?
|
Hell no, at least not now. People would think I'm weird as fuck. =/
|
Do I get a welfare cheque for it?
If so.......................................maybe.... .... = / |

LMFAO, that was actually funny. |
I would raise the clone.
Teach it everything I learnt while I was alive so it knows for next time. It would probably end up murdering me. |
hell yea, and make sure it dont make the same mistakes i did
|
but what made u ask?
|
I would. I would raise him and mold him into everything i was plus tha stuff i missed out on. He'd be perfection. Muahahaha.
|
Yeah, and then in 20 years my clone can kill me out of jealousy.

How old are you now? Your clone's DNA is as old as you are when you clone yourself. So, if an 80 year old man cloned himself, the "baby" would have 80 year old DNA with telomeres cut so short, he'd live only 10-15 years. |

Good thing I'm not even 20. They'll clone me in like 5 years, so I can have an epic death somewhere in my middle ages. |

Yea...It's one of the ethical problems facing cloning today. Every time your DNA replicates, the ends of the strands, called telomeres, shorten. After years of DNA replication, your telomeres experience this "damage" many times over. Molecular Biologists believe this shortening of your telomeres is what causes aging, body deterioration, organ failure, and eventually death. Otherwise, there's no reason why people have to die at 70 or 80. Think about it. There are species of turtles that live over 100 years on average. It's all in the DNA my friend. |
Yeah, but the bright side is we'll be the most badass clone duo since the Fetts.
