have you ever noticed

Tracks made for the net need to be EQ'd diffrently to tracks put onto CD for distribution?
I figured this out through trial and error a while back.

^^you cna say that again. tracks for live performances also need different EQing.

fun way to spend a few hours.

yeh. hence the reason i dont make tracks for net anymore. whats the diffrence between live preformances?

Im yet to test that.

^^I can def feel that.

live performances if you're using your shit to do back-up vocals you gotta turn the vocals way down, but not too low that muhfuckas can't hear it. otherwise you gotta turn the mic WAY up way louder than the music and nobody's gonna wanna hear that. The trend lately is to turn the vocals lower but leave the adlibs up.

it's like for every step there's a differnet EQ set!! :cussing:

yeh, EQ'ing can either be your enemy or your freind. Im yet to shake hands with EQ'ing.

I spose with a live performance, you will obviously set up waaaayy before the crowd gets there and do some general runs through of main songs and test alot of that out.
It will most proberly be diffrent for each venue huh?
for instance if its a smaller indoor venue, the sounding will have to leave room for the bouncing off the walls, but if its outdoor then you an most proberly have your levels alot higher.

damn, cant wait to learn this on a more practical approach.
