this lady who got burned on Oprah
I don't know where I was, but it happened literally 1.2 miles up the street from where I live. This lady was set on fire by her estranged husband with gasoline inside the T Mobile store up the street from here. That's crazy to me because I'm always near that store. What bothered me about this case was the fact that her husband's lawyer tried to get a lesser sentence by claiming he wasn't trying to kill her by setting her on fire.
The jury didn't buy it and the scum bag was sentenced to life in prison. |
WTF did he think setting her on fire was gonna do?! man I don't understand how someone could be heartless enough to even TRY and lessen his sentence like that...no wonder people say all lawyers are going to hell *smh* ...Oprah hasn't come on yet here, but you know I love her so at 4 my television WILL be on channel 11 |
