Nas making a new album
While performing with The Roots at Radio City Music Hall on Thursday night, Nas announced that he will be releasing a new album in September. Nas finished his set by telling the crowd, “I'm working hard for y’all. I got an album coming out in September.” The CD will reportedly be called Hip-Hop Is Dead, according to Billboard.com.
The album will be Nas' first for Def Jam, the label he signed with once he and Def Jam President Jay-Z ended their long-running feud. There is not much news circulating about what the album will sound like, but Black Eyed Peas leader will.i.am told Billboard.com that he was scheduled to record with Nas. Got this from HipHopgame. Illmatic was wack to me. I think working with Jay you can't go wrong. He's a business man, he's bout making money of course. It's guna be different for Nas tho, but it'll work. Bet this will be his most saled tho. Some Jay fans is guna cop it too.
