2006...thought I'd recognize peeps on RV who I think are doin' their thing in Audio during the 1st half of 2006. So, for each category, I'll name a winner and then an honorable mention.

Most Consistent Flow: Tony Self

I don't see too many cats who can flow on a beat and not falter at some point. I'm not talking absolute perfection, but I feel that Tony is probably the most consistent with flow

Honorable Mention: Tito...and def. Enygma...very adept with flow


Most Consistent Delivery: Tito Bronsky

Very clean and unique...fun to listen to


Honorable Mention: Triple N...very dynamic


Most Creative: Chief
My first natural reaction to this cat is always "Wow, that's so unique sounding"...So, I give props on creativity.


Honorable Mention: Ike...gotta love the topics



Most Improved: Jae Stacks aka Intermental
To be honest, it used to be tough to listen to this kid. He struggled with his articulation. But, he's done a 180 and it's impressive. I think he's finally found his style.

Honorable Mention: Mind Immortal...went from not rapping to being on beat

Most Versatile: Q
I wasn't going to give this award to myself. But, regardless of whether you like my style or not, you have to admit that I'm always coming with something different, topic-wise.

Honorable Mention: Apexx...seems to be able to hold down any type of track...But, where is that love track? hmm...And GDeuce...seems to be able to spit on a variety of topics and be convincing each time


Best Lyrics: Triple N
...Lyrics make sense...They are hard to fault. I could say that's being safe. But, that's assuming he isn't rapping that way on purpose.

Honorable Mention: Cho Khan...very refreshing lyrics...shocking at times


Deepest Perspective: Limited Edition
Very thought-provoking...introspective with his approach

Honorable Mention: Jae Stacks...always rapping about something deep


Most likely to have a club hit: Spul
Very Consistent with the style he uses.

Honorable Mention: The cats from Team One...very club oriented sound...Also, Kontro...very focused on "feel good" music.

Best UK Head: UNF
Most consistent this year...Kid dropped prolifically at the start of 06...Plus, he's listenable

Honorable Mention: Leady...rhymes are nice...flow is good

Best Femcee: Willa...easily...one of the better femcees

Honorable Mention: Imma give this one to LV...she dropped a couple deep joints.


Best "Voice": Ecko...most recognizable to me...and very melodic

Honorable Mention: Apexx...real bravado-esque


RV audio is good right now...Most people have listenable quality, and are coming up. There are more distinct styles now than ever. Let's keep elevatin everyone!
