thought id put it in here beacuse more people look in here then the audio thread..ok

i wanted to give computer recording a shot rather then using y 16 track recorder.. an i ran my mic str8 to the computer but it aint piccking it up in cool edit any one know why maybe?? :huh:

Check your recording device and audio stuff in control panel.

If thats all good, open up the windows volume contro then go to advanced option or something... then click the recording radiobutton, make sure microphone is selected, and push ok. Then check the check box below microphone.
