Fixing Echo...
aight, the dorm room in in now that i record in echos like hell when i record b/c theres no carpeting and its all brick and what not.. so, do any of you know anything you can like hang behind a mic or anything like that to reduce echo??

put your mic in the corner and pin blankets around it, then string one across the front of the corner.

string the blanket across the front of the corner, so it literall blocks the corner of the room off from the rest of the room... and in that same corner cover the walls with a blanket.

Just soften your walls. Flip the matress(es) up, hang some comforters up. will change sound quality dramatically, and you'll need to re-EQ btw.
