How do YOU promote your music on MySpace?
 

I'm only getting like 20-30 plays a day on average, I need some successful tips on how y'all promote your shit on MySpace.

if you have an artist page.

make sure you have a personal page as well, because people are more likely to visit a personal page than an artist page.

and make sure you have both of your pages on both top 8's.

and put your song on there.

if you have people on your top 8 that listen to you

ask them to add your song to their page.

or make a webjay account if you want more than 1 song on your personal page.

thing with that is, it's a bitch to make [ill make it if you want, but if you're just starting it can be somewhat confusing], and you have to have URL's for all your songs.

haha i had a personal myspace page and deleted it because i wasnt' getting my music across...haha......so i only used my myspace music page...guess i was wrong..i'm getting another one of those personal pages

I dont really do anything and get about 100-250 plays a day on avg. Pass out cds around the mall put ur link on it.......and only put ur best songs on it......when I did that i got about 60 adds and my plays went up..and if you promote it on other websites join like more then just rapverse....and have ur friends put ur link up on the page.........If you want supreme people knowing about it get a whore button done and just have all ur friends post that shit up or add like people with 200,000 friens and have them do it cuz youll get some friend adds and massive plays......the most plays i got in a day was 1000 and thats cuz i had E Milller do it and he has like 200 plays a day on avg. and has like 20,000 friends....also through shows promote ur page on that shit...........thats all that i know

Yeah, i'm working on doing more off the net but for now that's what I'm stuck with. My music page only has like 180 friends right now though, so first imma get more.
