they sell violent video games and rated R movies.....soo editing their music.....

terrible move they decided on back in 1991 if you ask me....

i never knew that.. but then again ive never purchased a record from wal-mart.

thats crazy though. and kinda stupid cuz as you mentioned they sell r-rated video games and movies but they censor their music

i'm actually gonna write a letter regarding this wackness that they got....but if you think about it....if walmart was to change their policy..there would be some teenage girls parents protesting and it would be all over CNN and people going crazy and shit....

yeah, ive always thought it was dumb...

but Wal-Mart doesnt EDIT the music, they just only sell the edited versions of the CD's, which you can get elsewhere too...

but its still dumb to ONLY sell the clean versions...

I dont see the point in it either. but you know how they say music is a big influence on todays society....why just music? because nobody watches the same movie over and over and over and over....and you cant play video games all day ...thats if u go to school or work. but music is something we can listen to ALLL Day everyday ...in the car....mp3players. cd player..every where..so i guess they dont want to contribute to the madness and have cursing in the cds..which is gay!. Kmart does the same thing..target is the only one i know that doesnt do it. but they are too exspensive...

It's true.. walmart sells edited/cleaned up versions of albums, which includes song lyrics and album covers. If you want the real version of the cd that the artist wanted you to see and hear, don't buy it at walmart. Because of the size of walmart and the amount of merchandise they sell, companies will modify their stuff to get onto the shelves.
