Jealousy
 

This is one emotion, if you can call it one, that I've never understood. Of all the other emotions, it seems to me like this one is completely controllable. Am I wrong?

What I really don't understand is, how someone could be jealous of you if they're your friend or relative. You would think people would be happy for you when you achieve some measure of success. Am I wrong?

I can honestly say that occasionally I may feel a twinge of jealousy when someone gets something new. But, then I quickly remember the scriptures that say, "Do not covet"...I also know that I should be content with what I have, even as I'm motivated to do better for myself.

I honestly think jealousy is one of the biggest causes of strained relationships, even if people won't admit it.

Why be jealous?

Be proud of what you have, and what you have to offer.


ehhh...Am I wrong?

funny, i was jus about to make a thread like this. then i thought about it Jealousy comes from someone's insecurity, they compare them selves to others aroudn them all the time and when you rise, the feel inferior.


on a seperate note, i do feel you're the jealous type, there's no doubt in my mind.
