This escalating violence between Israel and Lebanon

Israel bombed Beruit's airport to prevent the flow of more terrorists. And, now, Lebanon is bombing cities in Israel.

Peace in the middle east = HUH?

The Bush administration has got to be sweating man. Lemme tell you...Israel, particularly Jerusalem, is still the land of God. And, the Jews are still God's chosen people. If you are God fearing, pray that God protects and saves his people.

Watch how this pans out...Israel will be victorious against all aggressors.

It's just a shame though that there is unrest everywhere.

the jews are not Gods chosen people.... they were.... untill they rejected him as Messiah :)

christ death on the cross at there hands made salvation available to demonations outside Judism that accept christ as the Messiah...

how can a people who dont accept Jesus be God's chosen people???

that in itself is Antichrist... but at any rate... it was written that there would never be peace in the middle east... and that stems from them brothers by diffrent mothers.... you know what im talkin bout????

yea man... the bible is right on about there never being peace in the Middle East...

its a shame.... 10 steps forward.... 12 steps back....

I respectfully disagree with your first statement. Romans 10-13 reiterates God's love for his people (the Jews), even after Jesus had ascended back to heaven. Also, don't forget that God made Abraham/Isaac/Jacob a promise. He said, "He'll be their God forever." Forever is, well, forever man. Yes, Jesus is the way to God. But, God also protected and chose you before you even had the mind set to accept him as your savior. In that sense, let's keep a spirit of humility when dealing with his chosen people, the Jews.

Anything else is anti-semitism...The ROman Catholic church basically supported Hitler because they viewed him as "doing God's will".

Come on bro.

people need to start being afraid of Israel
they are backed by Bush and the States
have their hand all over our politics and have the weapons
to start wars with most countrys
not to mention they're born with this complex where they think everybody
is after them
Israel is gonna be a problem

Also, be on the look out for the price of gas. It's going to go up drastically because of this. That's what all the experts are saying.

What are you talking about, Serbness? You need to stop entering threads that are clearly created for actual contributions by people who know what they're talking about, not countrybashing dumbshits like you.

Israel is pretty dope when it comes to wars...I don't know much about Lebanon, but it'll probably go into Israel's favor.

The jews are supposedly gods chosen people? Then why would he subject them to lifelong terror and fighting?

TitoBronsky 07-13-06 09:04 PM

The Jews are God's chosen people....that is correct, but doesn't it also say in the bible somewhere that during revelations 144,000 jews will rise to heaven.....what will happen to the rest? 144,000 is not a lot......

Shear Kaughn 07-13-06 09:37 PM

I understand your point of view. And, many people hold your argument. But, consider this.

Paul clearly states in the book of Galatians that salvation is intended for the Jew first, and then the Gentile. And, in Romans chapters 10-13, Paul talks about how God is still calling for the Jews to basically stand up and be his people. Why? Because he still has that covenant with them. We as non-Jews are now God's people through Jesus Christ. In a way, God allowed this to make the Jews jealous because they rejected Christ. However, the fact of the matter is, the Jews are still the people God made a pact with. And, that pact was to be their God forever. He will honor his word man.

^^The rest will either accept Christ or don't. Remember that alot of Jews who accept Jesus still consider themselves Jews.

You don't think trials and tribulations make people stronger?
