Wow, so Vivendi Universal (aka UMG) just agreed to acquire BMG, which means universal is gonna absorb the second biggest record label in the world brining UMG's total ownership of the music biz percentage to about...60% with EMI and Warner about 10% each. the bottom 20% of the music industry is split up by tiny independants that aren't really considered a factor, so operative share, Universal owns about 80% of music as we know it.

prolly gonna record on monday b, weekends are always outta the question.
the label will, the artists won't. out of 100% of artists on a label, 97% fail.

yet the label seems to always make its money even if you end up broke.....
