^^^your pretty much wrong because my sister has a gamecube and i've seen and played the games on that console....they are very cartoonish and seemed to be aimed at a younger audience and just arn't that appealing......and i'm not the only one who feels this way...

Just because the graphics are "cartoonish" doesnt mean its a bad game. Also doesnt mean its intended purely for children...

For example, theres a game for GC that got ported to DS, that is considered a kids game. Its called animal crossing. Its rated with the lowest rating because the graphics look kiddy, the censorship guys were just like oyeah, fair enough. But the game is literally jam-packed full of adult themes such as sex, lesbians, smoking pot, psychadelic drugs, radical social and philosophical ideas... Its funny as fuck.

Oh and I guarantee to you that the wii will have PLENTY of "violent" games if thats what youre after...

More or less every single third party developer (including rockstar, valve, konami, namco, THQ, square-enix, etc) has expressed a HUGE amount of interest in the console and its creative possibilities.
