and i think i cant spit rymes infront of people , i get nervous and cant think i feel like everyones gunna make fun of me and say i suck like shit and cant rap..so i get nervous ,im sooo scared its eating me a live cus id like to be able to rap in like class just spit stuff but imm way to nervous, i could have skill like tupac but id still be nervous. i could never do a rap battle because id think id loose bad and everyone one make fun of me. thats part of the reason when i get on the mic and im not confedent and my musik sounds like shit..............................:( can anyone help me? or relate??? advice?????

I got over that fear like this. it relates to everything else for me. I been skateboarding for years and i know a few good tricks. There are also tricks that are really hard but look easy and when you mess up on them in front of people who don't know they all yell "you suck" and things like that. Look at it like this. Just know that they can't do what you do and they probably could never do what you do. Thats why they talk because that's the only thing they can do. Everyone's gonna hate, it's a part of life........um yea.

But, I started battling around here, and a few months later, no-one will battle me, because I've beat the so called "Top" rappers in my town.

Just be confident in your rhymes, at first you can even spit writtens around so people can see you, and as you get even more confident start freestyling for people and ish.

it's the old fashioned case of "don't know until you try it" syndrome...

you let the idea of people mocking you get into your head so much that you're absolutely convinced that it'll happen therefore you hold yaself back.

the only way you'll elevate ya game is by trying out new shit you have to TRY otherwise you jus ain't gonna KNOW...

but do it one step at a time...first start wit a few of ya mates, spit a few bars at them...they'll prolly like it...friends are the easiest people to up ya confidence and also if you REALLY suck that horribly, they'll tell ya. and jus take it from there...normally now in the clubs i'll be talkin to random people i've never met and i tell them bout my raps and spit shit right in their ear wit mad aggression and they love it...i'm confident in myself enough to start taking it further...but bro...i was at ya point once upon a time you jus need to take that step mate :thumbup:
