my mics arnt working i cant record nothing and i cant say nothing in it nothing makes a sound on it the volume is up as high as it goes dont help i turn it down dont help anyone can u help?????

Does your mic need a power source of any type?

no it is just plugged into back of my computer in mic spot

then ta cords fucked

Try pluggin it in where it says "Line In" maybe your program uses that even though you can switch it
