Tivo/DVR
 

Anyone else have this shit? I have a dual recorder DVR so I can watch something on one channel and record something from another channel. Plus, it automatically records whatever you're watching so you can pause and rewind and shit just like Tivo. If you also have one, come in and lets talk about how dope it is compared to average ass TV. ;)

Hell no. I got a dual recorder on for DVR, and the only way I can record and watch something else at the same time, is recording a show on DVR 1 and watching something else on DVR 2.

Edit: And you can't even record 2 things at the same time on the same TV receiver. TIVO > DVR

DVR is the greatest thing when you're crashing on someone's couch.

Get yo own cable. And no I don't have a broke one. That's how everyone's DVR should be unless you got an illegal chip in it. Cause I can't record 2 or more things on the same TV at once.

I have my own cable, moron. There's a difference between cable and DVR. I don't have DVR, but know several people who do.

And since when does sleeping on someone's couch mean you're broke? You've never been too fucked up to get home and ended up just crashing at a friend's crib?

I was simply stating that it's always nice to come upon a DVR, because there's a good chance they'll have something recorded that you'll enjoy watching.
