300 bucks doesnt look like that much spread out...you shouldve got a 100 and 40 5's and put the hundred on the outside and folded it up...then it wouldve looked like a lot...

Tithing is not something to brag about man....you just do it and know that you are doing the right thing. No one else needs to know you're doing the right thing. It kinda cheapens the whole meaning of a tithe when you talk about how much you paid into it and that you paid in full.

You're right...I wasn't really bragging about it. I was just clarifying to I.G. that I'm responsible with my money.

That's all...God knows what I give and that's all that counts. That's why I don't normally file tithing on my tax return. And, I don't plan to start.

Yes...Your church will give you a tithing statement around tax time and you can deduct it.
