Are compassion, love and forgiveness worth it?
Do you think it pays to be compassionate, loving and forgiving to anyone, whether you know them or not, whether they're your friends or enemies, etc... As opposed to being "nice" to only those you love or those who are nice to you, inconsiderate, and spiteful?
Personally, I'd go with the former, but this is an open discussion. |
Its definatly worth it..
There will almost always be people in your life worth loving and caring about. Whether you know it or not is another issue. And as with everything, you take the good with the bad. Because thats life itself.. I dont feel everyones worth caring about though... |
Yeah thats what im saying... sure, most people probably care about the people they love...
But what about people they dont know? And forgiving the people they care about who do something bad? As in, does unconditional compassion pay off? |

If youve ever felt unconditional love for someone then you'd know it can swing both ways... But you take the good with the bad.. As for caring about people you dont know.. Unless you want to know them... Why even bother... |
I belive that its worth it because you have a better sense of happiness when your show more compassion and love towards someone no matter who they are

Like 90% of things in life, it depends on the circumstances.

only the tough survives,.& the weak ones get stepped on for being too nice.
