KempoMRK: Hey yo Mets, how ya doing?

Mets: im aiight, on vacation from work so im being a loser for a week.

KempoMRK: lol nice. Straight to it, how come you're getting quite involved in this league and recruiting etc? Appreciated btw.

Mets: idk, i was gonna start a league somehwere just because the internet needs something new. the same leagues are always the good ones. and because i like leagues ran a certain way, like me, classick and allah ran the wbl. you sent me a pm and i checked out what you doin with the league and i liked it. everything was pretty much set up how i would set it up. it has a good mag and threads are up on time. thats all a league needs to get good people in it. so i figured there was no point to start from stratch when you put alot of work in the LBL, i figured i would help you out instead. The league should be a jumpoff in a few months.

KempoMRK: Good stuff man. You've recruited a few people already including Hensley and Butler, anyone else on the cards?

Mets: i didnt really recruit them, they got your pm ..i was talking the league up in a thread and i guess they seen it and was interested. you can take credit for them guys. im gonna try to get anyone to come over really, young philly is probaly gonna alias the league andwhoever else wants to. im just gonna put it on the table for a bunch of people. hopefully they join.

KempoMRK: Young Philly is dope, would be a coup to get him in the league. Aliases = Gay if your a known name in my opinion though, as names bring more people over ya know? You've champed most leagues around and your a legend at a lot of sites, what's left for you to do?

Mets: thats why i wanna help build this league. text has gotten really boring, its hard to sit and really think of punches. i usually jot ideas and form a punch. building a league kinda makes it fun again, RM and PR already know im a good battler, maybe some kids here dont, it'll be fun to see if we can make this league a success. text is a hobby and something to have fun with, it isnt a serious thing at all.

KempoMRK: I see you do audio, how does it compare to text? Do you prefer it?

Mets: i dont prefer doin it online over text or on cool edit. when i get chances to hit up studios with my boys, making songs is 1000x funner than text. but online i dont think it is. which is why ive only dropped a few things online. so as far as being online goes, text is way funner than audio. it helps me be a better writer.

KempoMRK: I get ya. What achievements can you boast of in text?

Mets: only league i enjoyed was the wbl. i won the title a few times there, had the most wins all time and im in the legends thread. its the only league i liked alot so its the only achievments i'll boast about, lol.

KempoMRK: Yeah, that was a dope league. What's your favourite battle that you had there? And tell us about it.

Mets: i lost to butler in my first champ match in 04, at that point it was probaly my dopest verse ..butler smashed it.

KempoMRK: Yeah, it'd be dope if we got him into the league. As the subject of respect was touched on in a round about way in what you just said, what battlers do you respect and feel the most?

Mets: Hens, butler and shake-zula, are my top three favorite dudes to read these days.

KempoMRK: All B-Boys lol. It seems like you ain't really up on RM?

Mets: yea, i post there just as much as i do on RM. oneduh and user woulda been the next two, lol.

Mets: just as much as i on PR*

KempoMRK: Aight. On to a bit of history shit now, how did you start text battling? You ain't been around all that long if I remember rightly, was it '04 you came about?

Mets: nah ive been around since 01', lol. i started out as the king of D12 world back in 01', some guy from my school that i smoked weed with everyday told me about bboys, he was Tyson on there. which is a god to most the bboys community. i went there in 02' and it was a wrap. turned out i wasnt that good to the bboys people, but after about a year i picked up on it and started winning. everything clicked. then we started wbl, and thats when i went from an good battler to a well respected battler.

KempoMRK: Ahh, that's why I've only heard of you from then cos of the WBL. You knew Tyson? That's crazy, people are still going on about the dude today. Give us an insight on him or something lol

Mets: lol, he's a little dude ..he looks like the donkey from shrek. nah, he's cool. his parents were awesome, we would post in his room and smoke weed religiously. he got caught up with the police and had coke and a gun on him. he's been in jail ever since.

KempoMRK: I see dude's on PR posting asking about his whereabouts, still not sure where he is and stuff. I'm gonna post this interview on PR probs, so how much longer is he gonna be in jail?

Mets: they all know he's in jail, its mostly new kids that heard about him that dont know. idk, i haveent spoke to him since about 4 months before he went in. i heard he was gonna be released this year but i dont know how much fact that is.

KempoMRK: Ah I see. Did he mentor you as such about battling or was it all you?

Mets: nah, right when he told me to sign up. he got kicked outta school and 3 months later he was in jail.

KempoMRK: On the subject of advice, what advice would you give to newer battlers?

Mets: id tell'em to stop flippin so many lines. then id tell'em that its just a hobby, you'll get better at it. it will all click one day. and to not take it serious, when you get offline text should never be whats on your mind unless your writing a little something in your free time.

KempoMRK: That's cool. So once again back to the league. Who have you seen in there who you think is real talented?

Mets: i havent read alot of people in the league yet. mimesis seems pretty tight, chrit can come tight ..havent gotten the chance to read any of the other guys.
