you could do forearm curl-type things, as if you were doing bicep curls with a barbell but just the forearm instead, then reverse it so that your palms are facing the floor and you pull the bar up like that so it works the top of the forearm, if you do it right you'll really feel it a lot

I've been wanting to work out my forearms, but hate doing the forearm curls. Some guy recommended taking a plate and tying it to the bar with a string and then holding the bar out in front of you and lifting up the plate by turning the bar. I've been wanting to try that.. sounds more fun than the curls.. and it would appear it requires more strength than the curls to do.

This works hella good. You can do it with your palms facing up or down, jus to work your forarm inside and outside. Also, I dunno if you guys seen those ooooold school little hand squeeze units. It's like plyers without any cutting device? Yea, those actually work hella good too. word.
