But who created started the Big Bang?

Why can't science and religion co-exist?

Why would anyone assume that the universe has any purpose, function, or "why" at all? At the very least, that needs to be argued for.

They can, but also they can't.

Science is about explaining and deciphering the universe, it reduces meaning in the universe. Religion is about finding true existence.

They can co-exist though..

religion is just simply a bnuch of rules...it was made to make people belivie that they are here for a purpose....

if we are good..we shall go to a better place when we die...if we are bad...then you shall go somewere horrible...

Occam's Razor, basically. No need to multiply complex entities unnecessarily. A being defied logic and existed, then proceeded to pointlessly create the universe, or the universe defied logic and existed.
