Question for yall beat makers.
Yea I wanna get a real good beat makin program, I wanna know what is the top program and possibly the price if you got it. I might even see if I can jack it off limewire or get my buddies pops to do it for me lol. But either way i wanna make sure I get a good program for makin beats. P.S I'd enjoy someone to guide me through it or I'll just read the starters kit or w/e. Holla at me though.
I hear reason is good, is it? What exactly I mean by a good program is not the cheap soundin sounds in it, the good baselines and so on. |
yea reason is good...bunch of majors use it.....i actually have it...just never fucked with it
|
It doesn't work like that... Top of the line production programs won't make you a good producer. In fact they'll make you worse if you don't know what you're doing.
I suggest fruity loops... There are some pro beatmakers who use it and its the best for beginners. By the way, the sounds arent to do with the program, the samples fruity loops comes with are alright but a bit lame. You need to find your own drum sounds and all that shit, you can just import them and use them in your beats no matter what the program. |
Man I can find good sounds for shit. lol I make dowithtwhat I got though. FL 6 is good. I use it, it's easy to get into to. Once you get good you can do some crazy shit.

Fruity Loops has worked fine for me...I've made custom sounds and gotten new ones as well. It works.
|
yeh as the rest said already if you dunno what you doin then don't go for the top producing software because most of them have a steep learning curve
start with FL and if you wish at a later date then move up to more advanced programs |
Where do I pick up drum sounds and so on?
|
Fruity Loops is your best bet. You just need to know what the fuck you're doing.

^yea I'm downloading it now. is there anyone that can help me gettin started?
