Jay Z claims he came back because Hip Hop was heading in the wrong direction, yet he's the main reason why Universal is suing MySpace? So basically he's stating that Hip Hop should be made for people to make money off. It's whack as fuck.

Nobody gives a fuck about writing good music anymore, all they care about is writing one or two good songs so people are forced to buy their entire album of filler and make a shit load of cash off those people.

It's called getting a better job or an education.

Don't get me wrong it was a hobby, and it still is, but then I realised i'm pretty good and if I get good in audio why not try to just go for it. Because i'm not getting anywhere else in life -_-. And I the whole "rapping" thing for the enjoyment of it, isn't really my thing, i'd just be doing it for money, parties, and groupies.

NOW, if I was able to play in a worldwide metal band, that I would do for enjoyment and love of music.

I think its weird that people dont rap to get signed to at least just an independent label.

What I'm against is people who ONLY make music for money.. People who refuse to put in any real effort into their songs but still wanna just rake in the dollers.. Fuck them..

People who are busting their gut to put out a quality product that doesent simply rely on investing millions of dollers worth of sound production to cover up their talentless bullshit are by all means entitled to want to make a lot of money..
