[ Now that i got your attention, when burning CD's, and in random spot a crackling sound (allmost the sound of paper being scrunched up) appears in the backround, whats causing that?

We done a good 50 copys of our mixtape and not one of them had it,chilled for a while, then started doing some more and the fuckers were all messed up.

Any help will be appreciatted]

hmm

a few variables here but the main ones to look at is the CD's (a) and the burner (b). burners wear out, some of em skip and throw errors as they wear or heat up. Same is true for CDs. cheap CD's flake uber easy. some of em have an inherent noise to em that sounds like static and the deeper in the CD you go, the worse it gets.


just something to consider.

the computer were using is brand new and has a high speed writer in it, and CDs are good quality.

Strobe mentioned somthing about burning them @ 50x. Any idea what he ment and how i could set my setting on windows media player to burn without creating this flicker/rustling noise bro?

lol yeah everyone thinks the home shit they got is great quality lol. newsflash man, if you spent 6¢ a CD, they're not good CDs lol.

but that 50x is the write speed. you can't really fucks with the write speed, the burner pretty much writes at its maxspeed or it doesn't. some burners and some programs will let you write at slower speeds to ensure less errors, exactly like the one you're experiencing.

but if it only happened after you guys came back form the break, try writing from a new job instead of restarting the old one.

why dont you just buy a multiple CD burning machine
