do you mix y6our tracks for the net?
 

Ive notice, My music is perfect quality on CD. Then I get somthing up on soundclick, and the EQ changes, the quality drops and the vocals levesl fuck up.

SO im guessing those with good online quality mix for the net.

your mixing is just shit.

my mixing isnt the best, but its CD quality. But yeh, you wouldnt know about mixing for Distribution.

I know what you mean about the net fucking with your quality a bit. Soundclick likes to boost your beat a little and make it sound like your vocals are low. Myspace always fucks with my quality too :thumbup:

that's because the sample rate your tracks are at is higher than what soundclick uses, so you lose fidelity when you put it on soundclick. same for myspace, just worse!

but word man, now my tracks sound identical on the net as they do the moment i finish mixing them down. i used to go slightly higher in my sample rate because it was UBER clear, but what sounds crisp on a good system sizzles on crappy systems.

where I'm at now is the sweet spot, where everybody can party.

usually my drums are a bit louder than most peoples
but thats just how my beats are

but after i put them on soundclick
its like WHOOOAAAAAAA
but i dont sweat it, i mean if someone is going to buy the beat i'll send them the real file, not the soundclick version
