Question 1: Minimum Talent Requirement?
 

I'm thinking of implementing a minimum talent requirement into the league. Don't worry, 95% of you are safe, the bar will not be very high, but people who are like REALLLLY wack, the types that you laugh at when you see, would not be allowed in.

Any Thoughts?

Well the thing is, if you have people that are THAT bad, then it may seem like they are harmless, but they

A) Drop lousy votes
B) Waste the time of the people they are facing
C) Make the league look bad for people from outside viewing the talent of this league

We want this league to have a high level of quality so there are less walkover battles. I mean, no hate to certain people, but the likes of Player-X415... that dude dropped ass in battle and ass in votes.

I say, unless you know the person who is signing up... they should have to provide links to some of their work and then you decide whether they need to elevate first or whether they can join straight up.

This'll just be like the RBL then. Coz Im not the best nigga here by far but Im decent or more then so by regular standards. Anywayz, RBL wouldn't give me a chance to join the league simply because I was new on that site. They wouldn't even respond to my posts at all so I missed out on joining that league and helping to make it more active. So I would hate for this league to do the same to people no matter how wak they are because if they are wak...they will simply do there best to elevate through the cyphers or through countless losses. People can only get better with time(I hope)

Well Wordz, I'm going to take more the approach of "your fine until I see that your wack" rather than the approach of "i'll assume your wack unless i see something good from you". In other words, if someone signs in that I'm not familiar with, I'll let them in. But if they drop REALLY wack, they're gone. And if its someone I've already seen drop REALLY wack, I won't let them in. Again, this won't apply to almost the entire league, I'm not here to prevent elevation, in fact as you all will see next week, I'm here to encourage it, but the people that need beyond help and months and months of elevation just to be average, I can't help those people.

as long as they show and are active they will get better quick... so it doesn't matter how much they suck in the beggining, you should restict inactive people over sucky ones... i'd rather right a verse and whoop a newb than win in a no-show, ya dig... how u plan on filtering people out anyway?

If something like that is posted, that person is only hurting the league. I'm not choosing to keep inactive people over shitty people, I'm saying neither should be in the league.
