Iunno what freelance is, but...

...one of my buddies that lives out of town got a new job a few months ago installing hardwood flooring.

He calls his title a "Hard Wood Layer", lmao, sounds so kinky!

lol now thats a broad question.

i'd damn near say, 'everything'.

Like Apexx said, it'd probably be easier to list what isn't freelance. The only freelancing I'm interested in is writing/copyediting, things of the sort. Great pay.

OK so howbout I narrow it down...

What kind of writing can be done freelance, and where? Creative writing? Articles? Reviews?

Am I correct in saying graphic design can be done freelance? As in design of logos, advertisements, web design, etc.

And with things like this, it is more based on portfolios, skill, experience etc rather than academic credentials and so on, am I right?

I've recently got into the freelance writing biz. I just got my first order actually.

I write anything, and I just charge 10 cents per word.

First order is 10,000 words.

Easy $1000 for me.

Almost all writing can be.

Graphic design can be. All you have to do is have someone send you money and in return you send them a graphic.

So how do you find jobs like this?

The salesman from my regular work has a huge list of cotnacts.

He's been helping me out with my writing and shit for free.

Its all about the contacts really.
