Now we can finally do a pole. Both artist dropping in less than a month time. Nas just came out yesterday tho, but choose wisely. Which album do you think is better, Lyrically, Swagger,Flow,Song,Beats,Overall??

I still hafto go with Jay. No hate from Nas, that album is sickkk, but honestly, theres too many skippable tracks on there..and nas is kinda talking about the same thing throughout tha whole album. HipHop is Dead,but, no hate..tha album is definately worth buying.


Jay is at 942,200(somewhere real close to that) in his 3 wks of being out. We'll see wat nas does in his first week, and compare those too. But for now...wat ya'll think about these albums?

lol jay bought like 200,000 copies of his album didn't he? that 81% drop off either means, a. it's true or b. people must of really regretted buying album =/ cuz 81% is unheard of these days

Word......I think Nas outshined Jay man. I really wasn't feeling Jay's album that much to tell you the truth. Nas kept it real. I usually listen to the CD from start to finish in the car. I don't think I even listened to all of Jay's songs all the way through :thumbup:

And Nas, Carry The Tradition was hot, but Nas talked about the same thing throughout his whole album. I'm not knocking Nas, but, this is gunna be good to see wat people think. I'm still rocking wit tha KC album. I dont care about Nas vs Jay...cause of course i'm down for Jay, i'm going album!!

neither really....to be honest i wasn't really feelin neither......Kingdome come had like "Lost Ones" and Minority Report those were the two tracks that stood out to me......Nas has like black republican and hip hop is dead..and those songs are waterd down like woah
