Papoose...and a question about mixing
 

aiight...I listen to Papoose now...

I'm def. feelin' dude's swagger and flow...

But, one thing I like is his vocals...It sounds doubled, but in a unique way...It sorta makes his vocals pop off the track...very vibrant...Anyone know how that's done?


Also, what modifications should you make to your vocals when you spit on a loud ass beat...It seems like loud beats degrade vocal quality...

Papoose has a style like Big L had..where the doubles would occur every line at the end of it maybe for the last three words. And yeah I think you can't stop degrading ure quality on a loud ass beat like our shovel man joint but you can turn down the volume of the beat...ya dig

^ yeah, i always just turn down the volume of the beat, but i know what you mean... i wish there was a better way

PS - i been on some Pap for a few years now, and he's that dude... i think his presence is just so good on the mic it sounds like its doubled over, b/c he just does the ends of his lines like Prah said.

i remember you saying papoose sounded the same all the time

anyway, papoose is overated imo, chino xl does his style a million times better and been around 10 years longer

^Not true...chino doesnt have the same style,plus he's off beat alot of the time.IMO
