does alcahaul really leave ur system in 24 hours??

yo i got a question ta ask that i need answered
now im almost positive that alcahaul leaves your system in bout 24 hours
and anything like weed, coke, mescaline, shrooms or whatever else can be traced back to 90 days within the last time of use in a drug test but im not quite sure how long alcahaul stays in ur system..does it leave in 24 hours?? and can they trace any evidence of the black & milds i smoked at all??
i need ta know cuz i have a drug test coming up real soon and all i did was drink and smoke black & milds in the past month...well any of this shit show up??

lololol @ alcahaul

just for the record, standard piss tests don't detect mescaline, shrooms or acid
however, hair tests do
so i think what you really need to know is what kind of test theyre running and what they're detecting

also, second hand marijuana smoke can cause false positives in your piss tests, it is like noticeably less in the urine but it can stay in you for up to 4 days after exposure

as for the alcohol?
i think it would really depend on how much alcohol you consumed (don't take my word for it because i am not sure, this is just what i think)

Ltizzle 01-07-07 01:32 AM

lmao @ alcahaul
you completely butchered that spelling

but umm, in all honestey i have no idea

Blay'all 01-07-07 01:59 AM

i dont think drug tests have anything to do with alcohol?? (unless thats what you're specifically getting tested for, i dunno) and black and milds arent drugs, lol... they're tobacco mini-cigars.

Dufflebag Boy 01-07-07 02:15 AM

^^^yea well technically a even a ciggerrete is condsidered a drug right
and yes they're specifically looking for ALCOHOL lol yay i spelled it right :)
anyways yea thanx for the info

Here's what I found on alcohol and other drugs: http://www.ohsinc.com/how_long_do_d...your_system.htm

Do they even bother testing for it for employment tests? It's not like alcohol is illegal anyways. As long as you aren't drunk on the job, that's all it should matter.

La Cosa Nostra 01-07-07 09:06 AM

Just go along for the test n if they winge about alcahol n cigerettes, tell them to shut the fuck up cause both of those substances are legal and accepted narcotic products served to the public at liscenced vendors that pay their fucking taxes to support the government that legalised that shit in the first place.

Ask them how young they were when they started drinking or smoking................

Standard drug tests often do not test for alcohol or nicotene. Neither are illegal in which case, so you cannot be chastized for it. For all they know you did some stupid dare in which you drank an entire bottle of listerine, and your parents smoke which will show nicotene in your systems.

Feeble Minded 01-07-07 11:19 AM

Nobody is stupid enough to believe you drank an entire bottle of Listerine. That would make you extremely sick, in which case you would have proof that it was actually Listerine which you drank, due to your visit to the hospital. In addition to making you sick, lying to potential (or current) employers would likely get you fired anyway, so good luck with that excuse.

Yes, alcohol does leave your system in 24 hours. Each hour, levels of alcohol in your bloodstream are diminished, because the liver processes the alcohol and changes is chemically. This is why some of you may wonder how it can "leave" your body in 24 hours... it really isn't leaving, it is being chemically changed into a different substance. After 24 hours it won't be detected as alcohol, because it ISN'T alcohol. I don't believe I ever learned HOW it was chemically changed in school, and if I did I forgot, so I pulled this off the web

"There are two ways that alcohol can be processed by your liver. Most alcohol is broken down, or metabolised, by an enzyme in your liver cells known as alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH). ADH breaks down alcohol into acetaldehyde, and then another enzyme, aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), rapidly breaks down acetaldehyde into acetate. The acetate is further metabolised, and eventually leaves your body as carbon dioxide and water."

Exactly.....basically it's saying that the shit's broken down and you breathe and pee it out. That's why drunks always have a strong smell of alcohol on them. It also seeps out of your pores

But yeah, it takes like 2 hours per drink (give or take depending on metabolism). And this process starts as soon as you start drinking. The reason you get the whoozy feeling while drinking is because your liver cannot process the alcohol fast enough
