this is a example i was showen a few years back

that example compose gave is really vague. in more relatable terms, a press kit is an 8x10 of your mug, some music, and maybe some stats and figures that might convince someone in the business called music to give a shit about you.

oh yeah, and obviously your contact information.

Like Koch Records for example ask for

- Pictures
- One Interview Session
- Soundscan (if you have it)
- Songs obviously
- A Biography and a personal Letter

They all ask for different things, if they ask for a press kit theyd say what they need on the website..nah mean..this is if you're trying to get a deal

Well they're looking for not a copied CD but a CD that's been processed (your' cover on it etc.) and a letter set out proffesionally and written on the computer..

and then anything else yo think you could send they might need..
