Man, last night's dunk contest sucked.

I mean there were some tight dunks. Dwight Howard got cheated on his sticker dunk, and Gordon Green was clownin when he jumped over Robinson. But then, after jumping over a 5'6" person, he follows it up with jumping over a table? And gets a 50 for it? Bogus if you ask me.

This is some shit.

Starts off with dunks everyone knows about, like Air Up There's 720, and Vince Carter jumping over the 7'6" German dude. Kadour Ziani over 6 people, Main Event over a car, all that. But peep James White at 1:05 and 1:43. Then ol' boy at 2:08. I'd seen one of the Globetrotters do the 12-foot dunk before, I don't know if this is the same guy but it's ill.

NBA needs to take some notes from these guys. Best thing I've seen in recent years is Amare Staudomire in '04.

You can't expect the greatest dunks all the time man. I was kinda upset about some of the dunks they did but cats trying to be original which fucks shit up. I've never seen anybody pull of the dr. J free throw dunk in awhile and well I think cats should develop better idea's in shit like that cause like the first link you had there, there's some pretty ill dunks there. The dude that did the 720 spin then jammed it was deadly. word up but you can't expect the greatest all the time duke.

Oh I sure as hell can. I was half-expecting Dwight Howard to be like Shaq in '93.
Last year, Nate Robinson threw himself an oop, but he put the ball through his legs twice before throwing it at the board. With a well-executed oop, he can do that as a dunk.

It's only a matter of time before someone does a frontflip dunk.

how bout a backflip or a brandi then dunkin it haha, man that would be insane.

BigTony.Self 02-18-07 09:26 PM

ionno what yall talking bout gerald green killed it not his fault everyone else sucked ass and tookk 5 times to get one dunk

these are professional basketball players who focus on their game to win.

not to focus on their dunks.

thats why their in the nba, and the dude who did the 720 isnt.

That 20 wasn't a full 72p, more like a 630. I forget the YouTube that shows it.
