The Russian batteries u brought couldn't power the energizer bunny
Now we both lost lots of troops, the shit was a bruiser
The war's like when u Russia verse...both end up as the loser

this is tough for me cause i'm not too familiar with this war...

showcase: i liked your verse, i'm pretty sure only the second to last line was the only reference to the crimean war, but for the rest of the piece u did a good job of shitting on the ottoman emp. some lines were stretched which messed with the flow a bit, but nothing horrible...

DaTrusHurtz: pretty good verse too, that czar concept was great, but i felt it could've been worded better, still hot tho, and the closer was really good, the use of russia=rush ya, that was hot, flow was a little off at points with a couple of longer lines, but it wasnt bad...

Vote:DaTrusHurtz...i enjoyed both verses, but i felt that czar line, and the closer were great lines and won this battle...

1st punch: They had to get help from Britain and France to get through the war.
2nd punch: They were the most ill equiped army of the war and they were basically everones bitch and did what was told to them
3rd punch: When the turkish army runs out of tobacco leaves, they would use paper, calling them poor essentially.
4th punch: During the Crimean war, Russia took more than half of the land in Europe from the Ottoman's.
5th punch: The ottoman empire was bankrupt after the war and basically fell soon after.


^^ All were points from the Crimean war?? I dunno how you would think otherwise??

showcase-wasnt feelin opener...liked the land line...good personals...no real hard hitting punches or wordplay...seemed like you didnt realy focus on the war

datrus-liked the opener it had good rhymes scheme, flow and nice wordplay....reast of verse didnt live up to the opener tho...still some nice punches...and decnt flow throughtout...good closer...might wanna question some of the stuffs relevancy tho

Showcase just talked about the war for the most part; I liked that he stayed on topic, but his punches were all kind of one-dimensional and uninteresting. Trus came more conventionally, trying to hit some hard punches. The Czar thing was interesting, but not really effective; kind of a weak link there. The "Russia verse" thing was the most notable part of the battle, so I've gotta give it to Trus here. Both guys could have come harder, though.

Hold your ground line was your best, couple other cool lines, overall consistent, nothing spectacular but still a good verse

Good shit, started off a little slow, but the last two couplets were nice, both better than anything §how had. Pretty consistent, punches hit harder than §how's did.
