Religion can be viewed like a story that is told to you while you're young to scare you to stop you form doing something.
And then everything good or bad that happens is because of 1 or 2 things.
Its like a fairy tale, basically with a super hero and a super villan.
I cant speak of other religion but i sure as hell can speak on christianity.
Christianity is this;
You have to live like this or the super villan will do bad things to you.
Everything good that happens to you is ebcause of the super hero.

Why cant everything just be considered as life?
Where bad shit happens sometimes and good shit happens sometimes.
Why does all the bad things have to be because of the super villan and why does everything good have to be because of the super hero?

And people like my mother blindly believes in anything she is told to.

Usually people just misunderstand.. Christianity tends to emphasize the unimportant stuff and dismiss the important stuff.
