RV's dead
 

When I look at the front page and there's only 6 members on in the middle of the day and the RV Mixtape doesn't have even CLOSE to 100 people wanting it yet, I know for sure.

I'm trying to figure out a way to revitalize it, but thus far I'm shooting blanks. Let's brainstorm about what we can do to either get old heads active again, or bring in a whole new generation of RV'ers and keep this bitch running.

Then still, we should try and bring NEW talent to the site. I know RV helped me elevate even though most of you would deny it. Going from my first text verse to my first track I did and to where I am NOW, I would have never elevated as fast if it weren't for listening to a bunch of other people get better, the collabs, the mixing help, and just the general environment. Shit, I'd probably still be listening to mainstream shit too.

So personally, I would like to give that chance to more people, and keeping this site active is the way to go.

We just need a new wave to come in and take over... I bet theres plenty of new people around but they rarely say anything for some reason.

why dont all of us old heads just man up and start being active again. . .its not that we grew up...its just that we got lazy. we dont feel like typing up text battles or voting...or competing in leagues and shit...i mean people grow up and still battle n shit, just because we grew up dont mean we gotta stop wit da site nah mean...i know me this last week i've been more active than i've been in like 2 years...im tryin to do sumthin nah mean.

werd...........i remember when rv battles would only be up for like 4 hours.. and then voting was done

^i feel u man... i stopped droppin for a couple months to work on a mixtape that went nowhere fast and the group i was in dissipated over some simple shit... but i didn't stop getting on here cuz i didn't have time, i just got lazy... this site helped me elevate my all aspects of my writing thru Poetic Scriptures and the Frontlines and even the Keystyle cypher... it's all about having someone you don't know giving honest feed... if anyone thinks of anything we can do to advertise or w/e, i'm down to help...

There is no fresh new audio talent...that's wuts hurtin the board

I see what your saying but most of the people that have been here sincec it started like me dab atti restricted LI preach soc Triple N flow vinci and everyone else im not mentioning have grown up most of us are in our 20's and dont really have that much time for the internet period let alone the rap forum on the internet... i know myself personally i can only be on the computer for a max of like 3 hours each day not including weekends because my weeks are really bussy with work and everything else going on in life.

Soc- I hear what your saying man. i've been noticing it alot lately aswell i was just talking to strobe about it earlier today, i didnt even notice this thread til just now. Most of the older heads arnt going to become active again because they really dont have time. I mean it would be great if all the 04 heads came back and got the site acctive again, but i dont see that happening anytime soon if ever=/. But what we should do is what we used to do back in the day and get heads from every site we can think of i mean shit spam the fuckin shit outa sites if its gunna get us members you know. but yeah im out ill be back to see what else has been said
