btw, mixing boards arent too important seen as most software does what the mixing board does.
Alot of engineers use mixing desks/boards cause thats how they learnt. Its a new age, might pay not to waste your coin bro. |
this dude i know bought 14 grand worth of studio equiptment...
ill be using it for free.......... |
@ gotsoul
Did you build your own studio or did you get someone else to build it for you? |
Built it bro. My bros a builder so he helped with the booth, I done all the studio foam n shit. As for my gear, just got coin together and bought it.
Booth in total cost just under a grand, fucking worth it though, not one bit of echo heard when recording. |

have to be stupid then. Mixing boards are still very useful in this day in age. Especially if you're talking about live shows. It is possible to just have pro tools hd and have all the fucking channels and buss's you'd need but a mixing board provides a more warmn and smooth sound. I guess if you want an easy set up with a processed sound then do it up, but shit don't say mixers are worthless. They're still very vitale in this day in age. |
but anyways back to the subject

y you gotta fastrack and not pro tools...and y ya'll got such expensive shit and cant put out anything worth listening too |
^lol.
What the net hears isnt what I distribute. I have a career in this offline, the net songs are the worst of the worst. Like I said ProTools is on its way, cant just snap my fingers and have the coin for it. Stayhating. |
^ You stay hating.
|
I go to a local studio, or when I'm in Chicago I hop over to Indiana where my guy who records/makes beats lives. I never really cared what equipment they use, I just stick with making words rhyme. Same thing with price, never really cared 'cuz people bring me in on their time since I can do most tracks within 1-2 takes.
