4 Reasons why the Sean Bell Verdict is insignificant.

1. The cops who killed him were black, except for one. So, the race card is inconsequential.

2. Al Sharpton's rhetoric of "hold America accountable" doesn't "hold water" when he selectively chooses who/what he champions for. The great Dr. King, late in his ministry, became an advocate for ALL who were oppressed.

3. On a grand scale, it doesn't have the social implications he thinks it does. People are concerned about how they're going to feed their families, not some guy who was shot outside of a STRIP CLUB in NYC.

4. We've seen it all before.

Real talk.

okay, so you just argued that the case is insignificant in terms of a racial issue... how about as a law enforcement vs. "urban male" issue?

That's the world we live in my brotha.....

When its said that a black man gets shot up by police, people automatically think the cops were white. I know I did. When people find out that its black cops that shot him, they shrug it off cause they really don't know which side to side with: The innocent man shot multiple times while trying to drive away from unidentified men as he was chased to his car, or the police who were undercover investigating the strip club the deviant was seen leaving from to get his gun as over heard by one of the police officers.
