Mic Check?
 

Hey aint posted on here for a while. But I do have a question. I just recently recorded a song with Prahject and wasnt too happy with my mic. I have an AKG Perceptions mic that I bought 2 years ago. I guess it's time for an upgrade.

I'm looking at the Rode NT1..but not too sure what I'm gonna go with. Any suggestions. It's only for vocals and an occassional guitar. Something that works well with the mids and highs seeing as though I'm no Barry White

I wouldn't suggest you use the NT1a for any instrument recording.. it's a good rapper mic though. Good luck in finding a suitable mic for your situation. 1

I have the Rode NT1-A. For vocals its all good, I havent had one problem with it, and when its past its used by date, I will buy another.
