That movie is fucking great. I love all horror movies, but the low budget ones and the over the top ones are my favourites. I just added Hatchet to my collection for a measly £7 and it was well worth it.

Just for the violent over the top death scenes.

I give this movie a 8/10 for sheer entertainment.

I wouldn't say it's great but it's definitely one of those tongue in cheek horrors that you have to give credit to for gore scenes...

got it on DVD about a month back and everyone i know who has borrowed it off me couldn't believe how exaggerated the death scenes were lol

I rented one the other night called shrooms. Ballin movie about people who go to ireland to try shrooms and they can't tell if they're trippin or if people are dying. The talking cow is CLASSIC!!!

It never had a cinema release over here, and I originally thought about getting it when it was released back then. So many people told me not to because it was garbage and it was priced at like £18 which is stupid considering bigger releases like your Die Hards, Transformers and that all come out at lower prices.

So whatever, I saw it for £7 and thought I would give it a spin and it was FUCKING AWESOME!

I only rate it so high because I am a big horror movie fan, but more a fan of the old school shit that was just all about the inappropriate entertainment and body count.

All this shit nowadays with people trying to make a convincing story and put in plot twists and all that.. that shit just bores me. I want to see blood, guts and naked chicks man. :thumbup:
