do any of you say that shit to your dad?

Iunno man, I do love my dad, but I have trouble saying that, it feels weird man lol

He's going away to Florida for the whole winter, so I wanna casually be like "take care and have fun, love you man" but that shit feels weird as hell and i'll prob end up just being like "ok ill miss you, have fun bye"

it's cos he's a dude...seriously, think about it....you'd have no problem saying it to your mother or sister but would you say it to your brother too? lol

no, if he's going away for a long while, tell him you love 'em before he goes. make it brief as if it's nothing.

I know it's hard and difficult and I never say it to my dad but before they go on a trip that's far away and you know it, you also know, being a man, that anything can happen. If something bad happens to him you want him to know that his family cares about him and you're his family

that's how it works for fathers and sons. So although you see him every now and then and never say it, ever, you won't be seeing each other for a while so instead of telling him over the phone sometime like a little faggot punk (you'd never do that) tell him before he goes real quaintly. That's the only way to do it. It's neutral and acceptable.
