A ghostwriter can't single handedly make you successful. You could have the flashiest lyrics in the world, but if you're image isn't there, you're only going to go so far. He's done an incredible job at crafting that ever since he broke into the industry. Remember, this guy came in when he was 13, that's a difficult task regardless of who you have behind you. If it didn't take any skill, you'd see a lot more 13 year olds in the industry right now.

I'm not a Bow Wow fan by any means, but I do give him a least a little bit of credit for what he's been able to accomplish.
