After Sunday, regular season battles will go up. So be ready, and consider this your 'warm up'. Just gonna key somthing up real quick...
I go to work early in the day, working hard not to mention I've already retired once and steadily collecting the pension I failed out of college, so already blew that chance no desk job for me, forever i'll be workin with my hands And plans for the future are bleak, my healths in grave danger Because everyday I build shit so hard it's like slave labor But theres one thing that drives me, and I value above It's the one thing thats certain to me, my girls love So I do what I got to do, and I feed my own pride Because the girl is my world and for her I provide But inside I realize that I only feed myself lies As I pull a shield of ignorance over my own eyes . . My penny wish is this, just a day off that'll pay Cuz I wouldn't mind If I could sleep for the rest of my days And I guess it works out great.. . . Cuz the truth is blunt and reality just bothers me... Cuz Penny's wish is I pass in my sleep for that insurance policy |
He wished upon a penny... that when he found he felt lucky
He wished not for cars or jewels, he wished not for money He wished for happiness, to always have a smile To be respected, not neglected as someones bastard child He was poor as shit and felt alone living in his orphanage Surviving off of tasteless food and poorage sips He never felt the feeling of being adored and kissed And the closer he got to it the more his heart was torn to bits But something happened when a couple passed in, looking at him They had to have him knowing his smile would be contagious to a parent They grabbed him, signed the papers & decided not to be short with the love The warmth of his new bed was nothing compared to the warmth of a hug He wished not for cars or jewels, but to always have a smile And now for once in his life he felt safe and was finally a happy child He put the penny under his pillow so that it could be safe too He wished upon a penny... and all of his wishes came true |
