Resident Evil 5.
Is not as good as people thought it would be.
At least not for me. The story lacks and is far too predictable. I mean, who didn't say the moment they say that ninja bitch flipping out in her hooded cloak "that's Jill Valentine." You knew that shit from the get go.
Gameplay is savage, but at the same time its fucking annoying. The whole gay shooting system where you can't move whilst shooting still irks me. I like the FMV cinematic events, but they were too few and far between. The bosses are nice, and I like how you can kill them real quick if you know how. Example, the giant spider - pop his legs a couple of times to make him fall down then fire a rocket down his throat and he's dead. He took me and my friend all of 20 seconds to defeat.
Single player is gay as fuck because the computer AI of your partner is fucking appauling. She fucking starts popping shots off all willy-nilly and just ends up getting herself constantly bitchslapped all over the place. It's like on single player every 5 seconds you're telling the dumb bitch to do this and that like she can't think for herself. Have some common sense woman.
Two player is beast. If you play it with a decent player who can hold their own it can be fun. Still, the gunplay is shocking at times. With the amount of enemies that attack you, you would think they'd make it so you can move and shoot... but no. As soon as I picked up the cattle prod, I pretty much dropped all weapons and started bashing people to death with that.. its sad that a melee weapon is probably the most efficient weapon in the game. I mean shit, I even whipped Wesker's ass with the cattle prod and he's like Neo on crack dodging bullets and shit. How are you gonna dodge a bullet and then be too slow to avoid a bash on the head from a cattle prod, lmao. I will give props to the upgrading system, you can turn mediocre guns into choice weapons. I maxed out my magnum and I was taking out lickers and them big fucking mantis looking things with the scythes that drop from them sacks on the ceiling.. I was knocking them off with one shot. 3200 firepower on a magnum = BEAST!!
enough rambling though. overall it was a solid game and worthy of buying for a playthrough. but I don't see any repeat playability on it and personally I don't think it lived up to the expectations. too many flaws kept it from being a truly memorable game. that's just my opinion though.
